Day 3 Results by class and by course in WinSplits are available at:
When viewing the results in Eventor there are Livelox links that will let you see all maps and all controls as well as the routes taken by many competitors.
Did you claim your Towel?
Every place getter (1st, 2nd, 3rd) in every age class, including AS and B, won an event logo towel. This was for both the Australian 3 Days and Bay of Fires 3 Days. And this was regardless of the number of people in any class.
Most people collected their prizes at the presentations but some of you left early because of travel arrangements or even not realising you’d won a prize.
If you’d like your towel we are happy to post it to you as long as you pay the $12 postage. Contact us by email by Sunday 15 April to arrange this: email@example.com
All unclaimed prizes will be given away to volunteers after this date.
Event Organisation & Plastic Map Bags
We don’t believe in re-inventing the wheel. If you are organising an event in your own state please contact us if you’d like any tips or templates or even to borrow equipment.
A number of people have asked us about our resealable map bags. This is where we be bought them:
More details about the bags are on page 38 of the April 2017 edition of “O Know”, the online magazine of Orienteering Tasmania:
More National Carnivals
We hope you keep attending national carnivals. One of the best things about orienteering is that nearly every event, world wide, is open to everyone. It’s a fun way to travel and explore.
This year the Australian Championships Carnival is in South Australia in October. Early bird entries close on Sunday 22 April:
Next Easter the Australian 3 Days, Sprint and Middle Distance Championships will be in Western Australia. Start planning now:
